Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience in wireless networking may be considered
  • 8+ years of experience in wireless networking, with at least 3 years focused on 5G deployment or optimization
  • Proven track record of working with network architectures, RF systems, and core network technologies
  • Experience in edge computing, IoT, or private network solutions is a plus
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Expertise in Wireless Communication: Deep understanding of 5G NR (New Radio), LTE, and related wireless protocols
  • RF Engineering Knowledge: Familiarity with radio access technologies, RF planning, and optimization techniques
  • Programming and Scripting: Familiar with Python, C++, or similar languages for automation and network management
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery

Desired Skills

  • Certifications in 5G technologies, such as Nokia, Ericsson, or Huawei certifications, are advantageous
  • 8+ years of team leading experience

Description

  • Lead the engineering team in the integration of 5G Technologies.
  • Design and Deploy 5G Networks: Plan, design, and implement 5G network architectures, including core, access, and transport layers, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Optimize Network Performance: Analyze and enhance network performance through KPIs such as latency, throughput, and capacity. Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure optimal user experience.
  • Lead Testing and Troubleshooting to: Perform RF testing, network diagnostics, and field trials to validate the performance and reliability of 5G infrastructure.
  • Ensure Security and Compliance: Implement robust security protocols for 5G networks, adhering to industry standards and regulatory compliance
  • Research emerging trends in 5G technology and integrate them into network designs, keeping ahead of industry advancements.
  • Keep the engineering team updated on 5G Standards and Innovations
