Description

  • Leading the physical, electrical, and logical integration of advanced avionics, flight management systems, communication links, and sensor suites onto military platforms
  • Ensuring that separate subsystems built by a variety of defense vendors mesh into a single, cyber-hardened, and highly reliable network for mission success
  • Collaborating with safety engineers to ensure all integrated systems meet military airworthiness certification standards and FAA regulations where applicable
  • Creating and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs), wiring diagrams, systems safety assessments, and configuration baselines 
  • Authoring, coordinating, and executing rigorous laboratory, ground, and flight-test verification plans to validate aircraft subsystem interoperability and performance
  • Coordinating directly with tier-2 aerospace suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to resolve interface control issues and enforce statement of work (SOW) compliance

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of hands-on system integration experience within the defense aerospace or military aviation sectors

  • Proficiency with MS Office products to include MS Project

Desired Skills

  • Prefer Navy P-8 experience but will consider P-3 or commercial aircraft experience

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET ELIGIBILITY
