Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $136,850.00/Yr. - USD $228,100.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Description

Working with the Operations Lead and Lead Test Planner provide Operational Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) expertise that supports Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) project teams in the design, development, planning, and implementation of test design, data collection, and data analysis activities.

  • Supporting or lead the decomposition of complex problems into test issues, measures, data requirements, test factors, test scope, and test constraints and limitations to determine project test strategies.
    • Developing quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methodologies appropriate for use in JT&E projects and activities that ensure test data is of sufficient quantity, quality, and relevancy to meet test objectives.
  • Coordinating with the Lead Test Planner and client(s) to select test activities and field test venues that satisfy data requirements in an operationally realistic environment. 
  • Supporting or lead data collection, management, analysis, and evaluation
    • Utilizing parametric and non-parametric statistics, data analysis techniques, computer analysis, basic modeling and simulation applications, and survey test and evaluation methods to include Students-t-test, Exact Binomial Test, Exponential and Poisson distributions, F-tests, chi-square tests, power analysis and sample size estimation. 
  • Supporting JT&E project teams during post-test issue resolution and the development of test report products that inform the CONOPS, TTP, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • At least 10 years of experience in operational testing and analysis, with experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies and data analysis techniques
  • 5 or more years of experience supporting Department of War test and evaluation or acquisition programs, projects, or portfolios
  • Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Skills

  • Experience with previous JT&E projects
  • Advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or operations research

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
