Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $63,150.00/Yr. - USD $105,200.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Description

  • Providing services for design, fabrication, installation, integration, and testing of C5ISR systems onto air platforms or ground mobile communications

Requirements

  • Associates of applied science in engineering or an engineering related discipline and at least nine years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and constructing major units, devices, components, or equipment
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions
  • Demonstrated experience using general guidelines and specifications (e.g., size or weight requirements) to develop designs for equipment without critical performance requirements that are difficult to satisfy such as engine parts, research instruments, or special purpose circuitry
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing technical data to determine applicability to design problem, selecting from several possible design layouts and then calculating design data, and preparing layouts, detailed specifications, parts lists, estimates, and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience planning or assisting in the planning of tests to evaluate equipment, system, and/or component performance
  • Demonstrated experience determining test requirements, equipment modification, and test procedures
  • Demonstrated experience conducting tests using all types of instruments and analyzing and evaluating test results to prepare reports detailing the findings and making recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience with the design, fabrication, integration, and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical packaging including the development of electrical and mechanical prototypes
  • Performing detailed design tasks requiring the application of CAD equipment; designs projects such as simulation, printed circuit boards, and electronic and electrical assemblies requiring development of schematics
  • Performing on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of DoD systems, subsystems, equipment, and components

Desired Skills

  • Of the minimum nine years of experience, at least two of those years included experience providing engineering technician services for C5ISR systems, experience may be concurrent
  • Of the minimum nine years of experience, at least two of those years included experience providing engineering technician services for air platforms or ground mobile communications, experience may be concurrent
  • Previous experience providing engineering technician services at NAWCAD WOLF

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL
