Description

  • Performing System Operational Verification Tests (SOVTs) for Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems on-board U.S. naval assets and shore sites
  • Providing on-board technical assistance (OBTA) and distance support to afloat naval assets and shore sites
  • Working on various naval platforms and within a lab environment
  • Testing and troubleshooting TDL systems
  • Performing on-platform installation, troubleshooting, and testing of naval communication systems and equipment
  • Performing system-level software testing to accurately validate operational readiness
  • Performing inspection and testing of installed antennas and antenna lines
  • Repairing electronics assemblies, cables, and TDL systems
  • Reading, understanding, and interpreting technical reports and drawings
  • Understanding of networking concepts
  • Assisting troubleshooting antennas as required
  • Providing written and/or oral status updates on status of current tasking to TDL Leadership and Shipboard / Site Leadership
  • Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of materials and equipment to and from task location
  • Prioritizing tasks and strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Performing ad-hoc tasking within contract scope

Requirements

  • TS/SCI eligible
  • 5-7 years of experience with CDLMS (UYQ-86), C2PS (UYQ-120), or LMMT (USQ-212)
  • 5-7 years of experience with:
    • LINK 16 Terminal
      • MOS URC-141 OR
      • JTIDS URC-109 OR 
      • MOS MOD URC-154
  • Passport required for OCONUS travel
  • Ability to stand or walk while lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling heavy objects
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on waterfront platforms during all seasons

Desired Skills

  • Prior Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) experience as CTR or Active Duty
  • Prior NIWC PAC TDL ISEA experience

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL

Travel Requirements

  • 25% travel (CONUS and OCONUS)
