Description

  • Designing and Implementing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet our business requirements, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
  • Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing the performance and availability of our cloud environment
  • Implementing and enforcing security best practices to protect our cloud resources and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Developing and implementing automation strategies to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on cloud solutions
  • Researching and evaluating new cloud technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Familliar with Cloud based technologies to include AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or similar cloud experiance
  • Be able to Design, deploy, and manage Cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
  • Provision and configure EC2 instances, VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and other AWS resources
  • Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Cloud resources
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies for critical data
  • Automate tasks and processes using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Manage and optimize Cloud costs

Desired Skills

  • Cloud Certifications to include but not limited to:
    • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP)
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
    • AWS Certified Developer
  • Developing the DevSecOps and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) architecture of small systems or subsystems of larger systems
  • Selecting tools, technologies, and methodologies that support automated build, deploy, operation, and monitoring of systems
  • Coordinating across cross-functional teams to remove impediments to CI/CD in order to accelerate capability delivery and increasing the quality and reliability of operational system
  • Being ultimately responsible for the DevSecOps architecture of the sub-system

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
