Description

  • Developing processes and plans for quality control and inspection tasks
  • Performing quality control checks on hardware and documented processes and procedures to validate efficiency, effectiveness, safety, and quality
  • Ensuring compliance with local policies, practices, and procedures to support and maintain requirements
  • Interfacing directly with project management team to provide status and progress reports, identifies issues, and determines appropriate resolution actions
  • Developing and executing process quality review procedures

Requirements

  • Shall have one of the following: high school diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate
  • Requires 10 years of professional experience solving technical problems
  • Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance
  • Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts, ensuring that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards
  • Experience includes testing equipment to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely
  • Ability to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens
  • Should have experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods
  • Three years of technical experience in support of design, testing, deployment, and operations within ISR/IO or C4ISR systems
  • Individual shall have, or be able to attain within 30 Days of assignment, the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II certification
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Proficient with utilizing DevOps tools for build, deploy, and patch automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BMC, or similar)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
