Description

Under general direction of the TRMC Chief for Test Resources, this senior position supports program management for several investment programs to include the T&E/S&T Program, CTEIP Program, and the JMETC program elements.   Programmatic and budgetary documentation will be created and tracked to support programmatic decisions.  This includes:

  • Tracking all of the investment program programmatic documentation and budgets and the tracking of every transaction for every program, project and subproject
  • Tracking responsibilities includes being able to provide snapshots of programmatic status and of the budget, obligations, expenditure, and accruals at any snapshot in time and to be able to project future performance and to perform "what-if" exercises
  • Develop, implement and maintain tools for tracking performance of the program to enable financial or other programmatic decisions to be made based on performance data
  • Regularly produce programmatic and financial performance assessments based on input coming from the field for the investment programs
  • Establish and maintain contact with the investment program programmatic and financial leads as well as the TRMC CFO and MIPR analysts to be able to track all financial transactions and other programmatic data
  • Archive Programmatic information using best practices, including financial data

Requirements

  • Requires DoD experience with a major RDT&E program or portfolio of projects
  • Should be comfortable performing "1 to n" rankings using disparate data and helping to set priorities. - The candidate must be able work with discretion when handling budgetary pre-decisional documentation
  • An expert in Microsoft Excel and be familiar with Microsoft Access or a similar database 
  • Must be a team player skilled with resolving conflicts
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented
  • Hard-working, dependable and able to work without direct supervision
  • Current Secret or higher Clearance

Desired Skills

  • Familiar with DoD acquisition and DAWIA certifications and/or coursework is desirable
