Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $111,100.00/Yr. - USD $185,100.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded Systems Administrator with experience configuring, operations and maintenance (O&M), and implementing Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) network topologies on Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) Secret Wide Area Network (SWAN) networking devices and IT infrastructure to support sustainment and modernization of Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific’s (NIWC PAC) Information Operations Division, Code 756 systems. These systems consist of an on-premises VMware ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V Hypervisors Sustainment of NIWC PAC systems will be conducted at the government's facilities in San Diego, CA.

  • Building and hardening a Red Hat 9 image
  • Documenting 4LEAF CLOVERS software build output
  • Scheduling in-lab testing
  • Loading software onto the in-lab system
  • Execute integration of our capability into a Program of Record system
  • Hardening the base Red Hat 9 virtual machine according to DISA STI
  • Building 4LEAF CLOVERS software within the virtual machine
  • Documenting software builds deficiencies
  • Identifying specific software components inducing failure to build
  • Searching for solutions to build deficiencies and document

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with the following: 
    • Building a base Red Hat 9 virtual machines
    • Hardening the base Red Hat 9 virtual machine according to DISA STIG
    • Building software within the virtual machine
    • Documenting software builds deficiencies
  • Experience capturing the following:
    • Console output
    • Interpreting console output or learning to interpret console output
    • Identifying specific software components inducing failure to build
    • Search for solutions to build deficiencies and document
    • Capture results
  • Ideal candidates will have familiarity with:
    • Linux
    • VirtualBox
    • VMWare
    • Ansible
    • In-lab testing

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with Linux, Virtualbox, VMWare, and Ansible

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
