Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $100,050.00/Yr. - USD $166,750.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded Project Manager to lead project planning and scheduling, budget management, change management, and quality assurance (QA) for the installation requirements for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) command and control facilities. Manages and coordinates integrated master schedule (IMS), project tasks, and resource management by engaging with functional area managers (FAMs) and other project and systems engineers to ensure installed cabling will support proper systems integration throughout the space. Work supporting USSPACECOM will be conducted at the government's facilities in Colorado Springs, CO.

  • Developing comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones, deliverables, and timelines, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with USSPACECOM objectives and requirements
  • Creating and managing the project budget, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately and efficiently monitoring expenditures and ensuring the project stays within financial constraints
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between the project team and USSPACECOM stakeholders facilitating regular meetings and providing updates on project status, risks, and changes
  • Implementing quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet USSPACECOM standards and specifications
  • Conducting regular reviews and audits to maintain high-quality project outputs
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget through formal change control processes ensuring that any changes are communicated and approved by stakeholders
  • Managing change control processes, and ensuring compliance with organizational and contractual requirements
  • Identifying, resolving, and preventing data inconsistencies
  • Identify and Utilizing configuration management tools to store, track, and manage configuration items
  • Maintaining baseline documentation, as required, by capturing approved changes to the baseline in the impacted baseline documentation once approved by the government
  • Maintaining detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and records
  • Preparing and submiting regular progress reports to USSPACECOM leadership and other relevant parties

Requirements

  • Three (3) to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description in support of a DoD Program
  • Demonstrated experience in the program/project status, schedules, and data management
  • Bachelors degree and at least five (5) years of experience project management within a DoD program
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as MS Project
  • An active TS/SCI is required

Desired Skills

  • Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
  • Experience in configuration management of on-prem and commercial cloud environments

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
