Description

This position will augment our current team discipline of reverse engineering and development of form, fit, function, and interface (FFFI) electronics and avionics solutions for a variety of DoD platforms and military services. We are currently increasing our workload and need additional resources to satisfy customer requirements. This Electrical Engineer will play a vital role on a team that currently performs all tasks required evaluate, design, and produce reverse engineering solutions. This engineer will have opportunity to take part in each phase throughout the process to get from legacy to FFFI replacement.

  • Performing a variety of analyses of technical engineering data
  • Interpreting the data, verifying product documentation, designs, layouts, or drawings for adequacy and reliability
  • Developing, documenting, and recommending solutions or improvements for technical engineering problems of moderate scope
  • Researching and preparing draft and/or finished engineering presentations, reports, process studies, or technical information used for such things as program reviews, design reviews, and proposal activities
  • Initiating, developing, and maintaining active interfaces and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customer
  • Assisting in delivering presentations to management and/or the customer
  • Analyzing, developing, and maintaining technical databases and supportive engineering systems

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2-4 years of work-related experience
  • Application of complex and technical professional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive and applied use of related concepts, practices, and methods
  • Intermediate level of proficiency to work on assignments of standard difficulty

Desired Skills

  • One or more of the following skills are desired:
    • Circuit / hardware design:
      • PCB Design Tools (Autodesk Fusion / Altium Design)
      • Component Selection
    • FPGA (Firmware) Design in VHDL / Verilog
    • RF engineering:
      • Digital signal processing
      • RF and/or digital hardware design and integration
      • Waveform development and modeling
      • Electronic Warfare systems
    • Ability to read engineering drawings

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL
