SRC is searching for a skilled Senior Systems Engineer, with a primary focus on managing and optimizing the Nutanix hypervisor environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, support, and patching of Nutanix systems, ensuring high availability and performance of the virtualized infrastructure. While Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) certification is preferred, we welcome candidates with experience in other hypervisor platforms who are committed to obtaining NCP certification within six months of hire.
• Install, configure, and maintain Nutanix hypervisor environments to support mission applications and services.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Provide advanced technical support for Nutanix-related issues, including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to Nutanix systems in accordance with best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement virtualization solutions that meet customer needs.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for operational continuity.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in hypervisor technologies to recommend improvements.
• Achieve Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) certification within six months of hire, if not already certified.
