Audio and Video Technician - Junior

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $18.78/Hr. - USD $31.29/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

• Supporting the installation, repair, or adjustment of audio video and multi-media system components
• Performing routine troubleshooting and maintenance

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or a qualifying substitution

• Basic understanding of audio-visual (AV) systems

• Proficiency in installing and configuring AV equipment, including proper wiring, cabling, and mounting techniques

• Problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and provide technical support

• Knowledge of networking principles related to AV (IP addressing, network protocols, streaming
• Knowledge with various AV standards and formats (HDMI, SDI, Dante, etc.)

• May require 10% CONUS and OCONUS travel
