Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Network, Systems, or Cybersecurity engineering and four years of work-related experience; or a Master’s degree in Network, Systems, or Cybersecurity engineering and two years’ work related experience in a relevant technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience managing the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer
  • Experience serving as primary customer contact for specific efforts to assure responsiveness to customer needs and effective professional conduct
  • Proven ability to monitor project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained
  • Experience in providing functional and technical guidance to engineering staff and management
  • Previous performance as a project lead on advanced specialized projects or in resolution of technical problems that critically impact performance, schedule, or cost
  • Experience mentoring and coaching assigned personnel to enhance performance and encourage professional development
  • Experience in hiring, firing, disciplining, and documenting performance
  • Must be capable of supporting business development efforts by researching opportunities, determining solutions, and writing proposals
  • Able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance

Desired Skills

  • Ability to analyze local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites, and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices
  • Experience assisting with the installation and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems
  • Navy Shipboard Network administration experience
  • Navy SHIPALT/TEMPALT and system integration experience
  • Ability to assist with implementing technical solutions to address cybersecurity challenges presented by architectures, networks, systems, and applications
  • Experience installing and maintaining hardware and software products
  • Ability to define system security requirements, including but not limited to the authorization boundary, data flows, security domains, classification of data, etc.
  • Experience in the documentation of security interfaces, security interconnections, and the trust relationship between system components and external systems
  • Desired certifications: Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA-Security)

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Travel Requirements

  • Travel to customer site about twice a year
