Description

  • Overseeing the application of engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, or related data processing systems for DoD communication systems, networks, and associated support equipment or components
  • Reviewing, analyzing, developing, preparing, or applying engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures
  • Organizing, analyzing, and preparing reports or presentations of technical data and information.
  • Planning and performing tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.
  • Compiling, processing, reducing, or analyzing test data results
  • Providing subject matter expertise on the operation, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DoD and public-safety communications systems
  • Analyzing local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and selecting operating systems and protocol suites as well as configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices
  • Supporting acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer, or Network Engineer role
  • 3+ years of experience with the production of communication systems, networks, or technologies
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Engineering discipline, Computer Science or IT discipline, or other technical discipline
  • Direct experience developing, designing, modifying, installing, testing, evaluating and operating electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, or related data processing systems for DoD communication systems, networks, and equipment
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, analyzing, developing, preparing, and applying engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures
  • Direct experience preparing and presenting technical data reports
  • Experience performing test and evaluation of systems equipment and components
  • Direct Experience with the operation, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DoD and/or public safety communication systems
  • Possess a current DoD TS clearance

Desired Skills

  • 10+ years of experience with the production of communication systems, networks, or technologies
  • Direct experience with NAWCAD WOLF Engineering and/or production efforts
  • 10+ years of experience with the operation, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DoD and/or public safety communication systems

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL
