Description

This position directly supports the Acting, Chief of Security & Senior Security Advisor of the Test Resource Management Center & Insider Threat Program Manager. The position requirements include:

  • Assisting in the operations and administration of the foreign visitors and travel program, insider threat program, counterintelligence program, anti-terrorism and force protection program, and continuity of operations program
  • Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of programs and their ability to meet DoD goals and objectives
  • Researching and preparing draft and/or finished presentations to leadership and customers
  • Performing research and analysis to enhance the development of products and services
  • Conducting inquiries into suspected insider threat activity, reviewing user activity, and analyzing anomalous behavior
  • Conducting analysis, developing reports, and providing assessments of known threats and vulnerabilities
  • Identifying and addressing critical information gaps and reporting findings to senior management

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements

  • 10+ years of security experience specifically with foreign travel programs, insider threat programs, and counterintelligence, anti-terrorism, and force protection security operations within DoD
  • Experience working at the Pentagon and briefing senior leadership
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
  • Ability to assist in analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of security operations in meeting established goals and objectives
  • Ability to assist in gathering, identifying, receiving, examining, and integrating data on incidents from various sources following established guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to assist in evaluating program progress status, trends in any functions, and goals and objectives
  • Ability to assist in preparing responses to queries, reports, justifications, and background papers
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and represent the organization in briefings with internal and external senior stakeholders to inform them of the progress of initiatives
  • Ability to work successfully in a collaborative and diverse environment
  • Team player
  • Top Secret (SCI) eligible
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
