Description

Candidate to reside in Charleston, SC but has the ability to work remotely with occasional presence in our office. The SRC recruiting team is looking to add a motivated Recruiting Assistant (RA) to our dynamic and collaborative organization! This position is an immediate need and you will have the opportunity to primarily work remotely in the Charleston area. You will have an important and visible role in the successful execution of our recruiting practices.

  • Partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate the administrative recruiting process for all divisions
  • Working closely with other Recruiting Assistants to create new processes and procedures
  • Tracking recruiting metrics and provides regular reporting for recruiting functions
  • Partnering with RA team to functionally support recruiters and tasks at hand
  • Performing in-depth Excel tasks to keep reports running properly
  • Creating and managing requisitions, working closely with recruiters to perform continuous updates
  • Updating candidate status, working with candidates and recruiters to make sure the hiring process flows smoothly
  • Preparing offer letters and relocation agreements
  • Supporting U.S. and international-based employees, coordinating the hiring and transferring process of said employees
  • Owning the candidate process from beginning to end, to include: managing candidates profiles in applicant tracking system, running background checks, building offer letters, extending offers, running candidate security clearances, scheduling drug screens, and sending company-wide hire notifications
  • Updating divisional staffing reports on a weekly/monthly basis

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2)+ years of work-related experience (onboarding/HR coordination) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience supporting Talent Acquisition preferred
  • A team player with a positive attitude, desire to advance career, and an understanding of the importance of working in a support role to assist others in the organization
  • Understands the importance of and enjoys working in tandem with others to accomplish assigned duties
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Willingness and desire to learn
  • Strong sense of urgency with a go-getter attitude
  • Meticulous eye for detail with comprehensive knowledge of rules of grammar, spelling and business communication
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Flexibility to swiftly respond to priority changes
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to think quickly on your feet
  • Must be proactive and willing to take initiative in difficult situations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as analytical and inter-personal skills in order to communicate with a variety of individuals and professional levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of Word and Adobe Acrobat

Desired Skills

  • Experience using an application tracking system/recruiting software
    • iCIMS software preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree is highly desired
