Description

  • Working with stakeholders of the Joint Threat Warning System (JTWS) and combatant craft projects team, creating and maintaining project schedules that provide a structured plan for project execution by outlining tasks, deadlines and resources
  • Assisting in managing the project timelines, progress tracking and facilitate effective communication amongst team members and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proficient in using project management tools, including Microsoft Project, to plan and monitor project activities
  • Experienced with a variety of scheduling techniques, including critical path analysis, Gantt charts, baselines, and work breakdown structures (WBS)
  • Skilled in developing comprehensive project timelines, clearly outlining task dependencies and key milestones
  • Capable of monitoring project progress, identifying schedule variances, assessing risks, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track
  • Proactively identifies risks and uncertainties that could affect project schedules and develops effective mitigation strategies
  • Manages schedule changes resulting from scope adjustments or unforeseen challenges, ensuring project timelines remain realistic
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project data, recognize potential issues, and recommend effective solutions
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Prepares regular progress reports and communicates project status updates to managers and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of customer needs, focusing on delivering high-value outcomes and continuous improvement based on feedback
  • Collaborates effectively with project teams, cross-functional departments, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills; fosters a collaborative environment and contributes to shared goals
  • Takes initiative to solve problems, anticipate challenges, and proactively keep projects moving forward
