Description

  • Providing support to the Combat Plans Division of the 616th Operations Center in execution of 16th Air Force’s mission
  • Delivering the ability to network and interact with Cyber partners across the spectrum of military operations
  • Managing DoDIN assets and strategies to support 16th Air Force Cyber Operations
  • Consistently monitor current and developing Cyber threats, tactics, and vulnerabilities that have the potential to impact the DoDIN
  • Translating customer requirements and technology trends into recommendations that provide Senior Leaders with a flexible, cost-effective, and technical framework that will adapt to evolving Cyber threat

Requirements

  • 3-8 years assigned to/experience with Cyber support and defense network operations
  • Basic understanding of Network Operations and Cyberspace Operations Experience (Offense and/or Defense)
  • Knowledge of strategic planning; familiarity with coordination and interoperability with USCYBERCOM, NSA, and national mission partners
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense Information Networks (DoDIN) directives and governing principles; detailed understanding of tactics, techniques, procedures, and processes of DoDIN
  • Awareness of current and developing Cyber threats, tactics, and vulnerabilities that have the potential to impact DoDIN
  • Ability to translate customer requirements and technology trends into recommendations for Senior Leaders that enables a flexible, cost-effective, and technical framework capable of adapting to evolving Cyber threats
  • Awareness of DoDIN Operations and USAF Cyber mission
  • Effectively communicate (written and oral) implementation plans and briefings to Senior Leader

Desired Skills

  • Experience working in AFCYBER, JFHQ-DODIN, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of security concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.), well-known ports (DNS, SMTP, FTP, LDAP, etc.), processes, architectures, and tools
  • Experience in the field of DoD computer network defense with an understanding of the lifecycle of the network threats, attack vectors, and network vulnerability
  • Working knowledge of Joint and USAF doctrine, specifically Cyber Operations and ISR employment
  • Experience in determining and implementing methods of measuring effectiveness

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
