Procurement Manager

• Leading day-to-day procurement team members in procurement operations ensuring effective performance response, customer service, and alignment with company mission, values and goals
• Serving as the primary interface to company executives, program managers, engineers, and infrastructure managers in accounting, property, security, shipping/receiving, information technology, facilities, and contracting
• This is a working supervisory position preparing, negotiating, managing, and closing subcontracts & consulting agreements while managing a team
• Assisting in the developing and reporting metrics for subcontract actions and customer service
• Participating in continuous improvement program, recommending process changes and techniques and assisting in implementation
• Supporting teamwork, customer service, positive interpersonal relationship techniques, and alignment with company mission, values, and goals

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience with additional training in contract law
• Minimum of 5 years federal government contract administration experience, including supervision/management experience

• FAR / DFAR knowledge
• DoD procurement & contracts experience
